Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO to develop strategic planning and key initiatives for each fiscal year in order to meet long range goals
- Collaborate with internal leadership and teams to help frame new product development opportunities
- Own the development and routine reporting of key business development metrics to track performance against annual goals and key initiatives
- Work independently and in a team environment on various projects, which would include planning and coordinating presentations
- Attend and support external marketing events as needed
- Manage meetings follow-up, including taking notes and distribution of notes to attendees
- Drive accountability for meeting sales targets, including CEO
- Develop and execute an outreach strategy and scheduling in-person and phone interactions between healthcare executives and our consultants/leaders, working toward weekly and monthly goals
- Utilize cross-department knowledge, relationships, and content to identify potential clients
- Qualify inbound interest and follow up on opportunities for business development
- Track efficacy of business development strategies and make recommendations for adjustment
- Maintain integrity of CRM to track key performance metrics and client interaction
- Manage CRM workflows and management reporting
- Gather accurate client information to add to CRM with continual follow-up and retention
- Become familiar with product/services beyond the surface level
- Assist with initial prep of legal documents including MSA, SOW, BAA, etc. for RFPs
- Research industry events (tradeshows, etc.); track events and maintain business development calendar
- Collaborate with Marketing to push content, including assisting with blog posts
- Develop scope documents from ambiguous or draft narrative/notes
- As with any fast-growing company, this role will need to be flexible and happy taking on other responsibilities as needed as part of our collaborative team with a shared mission
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in healthcare or related field
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Good team development and leadership skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Advanced writing skills
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience as a Sales/Strategy Coordinator with a strong understanding of relationship-based sales
- Advanced HubSpot knowledge
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations
